C. L. Jennison is a British psychological suspense author and crime fiction editor. She is best known for the novel More Fool Me (2024) and her work with Bloodhound Books. Her titles include The Desperate Wife (2023), What’s Mine Is Yours (2023), Sunday’s Child (2024), and Her Twisted Fiction (2022), the last of which she later revised and republished.
C. L. Jennison studied English and Creative Writing at university. After graduating, she became a qualified teacher. She taught English and English literature for over ten years. During that time, she gained skills in communication, analysis, and mentoring. These skills later shaped her editing and writing practices.
In 2022, she self-published her debut novel, Her Twisted Fiction. The book marked her entry into psychological suspense. A publishing agreement with Bloodhound Books followed it. “I understand the journey of publishing a novel,” Jennison said, reflecting on her early experiences. “We’re in this together, and I’m here to help.”
Bloodhound Books released her subsequent four novels in quick succession. The Desperate Wife appeared in May 2023. What’s Mine Is Yours followed in September 2023. Sunday’s Child was published in January 2024. In December 2024, she released "More Fool Me," a reworking of her debut. Two more books are scheduled for release in September 2025 and January 2026.
Alongside writing, Jennison runs C. L. Jennison Editorial. She offers manuscript feedback and editing services focused on narrative clarity, consistency, and flow. Her work supports authors across both self-publishing and traditional routes.
Jennison continues to invest in her professional development. She has trained with CIEP, The Novelry, Jericho Writers, Curtis Brown Creative, and Self Publishing Formula. She has also taken courses taught by authors such as Laura Jane Williams and Suzy K. Quinn.
