The Plot: The Hearthguard is assembled and sent to London, establishing their HQ in a cleverly hidden crypt beneath a historic building. They must learn to work together, with Bjorn struggling with the Fae's illusions, Kari tracking their movements through the human world, and Elias trying to build an anti-glamour device.

Climax: Astrid is forced to duel the Fae Queen using both Norse and ancient British spellcraft, realizing that the Fae's power is tied directly to the health of the land, something her structured magic doesn't account for. The team negotiates a new truce, proving their worth.
