The Only One Left

I wanted to be found, so people would understand the depths of my despair.

Only later did I realize all men were alike. It didn’t matter if they were rich or poor, fat or thin, old or young. Their needs were so basic it was laughable.

She’s capable of so little yet accused of so much, and I remain torn between wanting to protect her and the urge to suspect her.
