The book is divided into three, interconnected parts that illuminate and contextualize the events and people Simo Häyhä either spoke or wrote of.
The first part has all the memories Simo Häyhä shared of his war in the early 1940s. Including his 2017 discovered War Memoir, combined and contextualized with his other recollections of his Winter War.
The second part, Life, Myths & Beyond, further on adds to Häyhä's war memories, besides revealing his thoughts on life and war.
In the third part, Kollaa, the legendary Winter War front of Kollaa is witnessed through the warpath of Häyhä's famous company 6/JR 34 led by Aarne Juutilainen. Others also add their recollections of Häyhä's war.
The book is based on research in all the original sources regarding Simo Häyhä and Kollaa.
