L.J. Diva is the pen name of Australian writer Tiara King. She writes contemporary adult romance novels and is best known for the Porn Star Brothers series. Her notable titles include The Road to Vegas (2012), Carlos (2016), and Anything for You (2022). Under her publishing imprint, Royal Star Publishing, she has independently released multiple novels in e-book, paperback, hardcover, large print, and AI audiobook formats.
Tiara King was born in Australia and began her creative life in the 1980s. While still in primary school, she co-wrote and “self-published” her first two books with classmates. Around the same time, she developed a strong interest in fashion and jewellery, which would later influence her professional identity. By high school, she had written a third book and was writing song lyrics inspired by her favourite musicians. Over the following seven years, she analysed lyrics and later extended that habit to books, which helped prepare her for writing fiction.
In 2006, King wrote her first novel, The Road to Vegas, and followed with How I Won Lotto, Moved to L.A. & Married a Really Huge TV Star! (2008). After launching her first blog, Bitchfest, in 2009, she began submitting both novels to publishers. In 2010, she received an offer for the latter title but declined, saying, “After much consideration, I thanked them and declined their offer.” In 2011, she discovered self-publishing and released both novels digitally under the name Jewels Diva and later in print under the name Lady Jewels Diva.
In 2016, King adopted the pen name L.J. Diva to match the adult tone of her new series, Porn Star Brothers. That year, she wrote and published the first instalments — Carlos, Pedro, and Tomas — between April and October. She dedicated the entire series to her inspiration, Jackie Collins, stating, “I cried over the sudden death of my author inspiration and mentor, Jackie Collins.”
Between 2017 and 2020, she continued the series with titles such as Retribution, Forever, Love Never Dies, Stefan: The New Generation, DeLuca, Spiros & Jenny, and And Always. From 2021 to 2022, she focused on expanded print formats and wrote Anything for You, inspired by actor Jason Sudeikis.
In 2023 and 2024, she wrote multiple short stories, a cop show trilogy, and Burning Desires. In 2025, she completed a third novel, forming a whole trilogy. L.J. Diva remains the identity under which Tiara King explores themes of love, sex, and adult relationships.
