It started as a date with a diving instructor, but when Tamsyn finds a body during a wreck dive off the Cornish coast, her work-life balance is in serious jeopardy.

Who is the mysterious diver with the Cyrillic tattoos, and why has nobody reported him missing? Is this an accident or evidence of organised crime, and why are fingers pointing towards the military naval air station just a few miles away?

Tamsyn Poldhu is just a student constable, so DI Robert Rego is brought down from Devon to take over the case. He’s missing his family in Manchester and gets seasick just looking at a boat.

But this crime is bigger than both of them, and the pressure isn’t just to solve the case … but to forget about it completely.
