Kim Nash is a British author of romantic, uplifting, and feel-good fiction. She is best known for Amazing Grace (2019), Escape to Giddywell Grange (2019), and Moonlight Over Muddleford Cove (2021). Her most recent novel is The Cornish Cottage by the Sea (2025).
In 2020, she was a finalist in the Amazon Kindle Storyteller Award and previously won the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Media Star of the Year award in 2016.
Since childhood, Kim dreamed of being a writer. “I loved Enid Blyton books,” she recalled. “I lived in a big house with a garden leading to the sea and wrote stories to entertain.” Her favourites included The Magic Faraway Tree, The Wishing Chair, and The Famous Five.
She made her publishing debut with Amazing Grace (2019), a story about personal rediscovery. Her second novel, Escape to Giddywell Grange (2019), was inspired by a local walk with her dog. She spotted the name “Giddywell Lane” and decided it would make a strong book title. In 2020, she published Sunshine and Second Chances, originally titled “Book 3” before the final name emerged.
Moonlight Over Muddleford Cove (2021) is set in a fictional village based on Mudeford in Dorset. The title came from a conversation with fellow author Jessica Redland. Kim later wrote Snowflakes Over Muddleford Cove, continuing the theme of the season.
Kim’s stories often begin with a title idea and evolve through daily life experiences. When asked about her process, she said, “I don’t get hung up on titles anymore… what you start with doesn’t always reflect the book.”
Kim Nash lives in Staffordshire with her son Ollie and their rescue dog, Roni. She works as Head of Publicity at Bookouture, part of Hachette UK. Outside writing, Kim runs a local book club and arranges events for readers and authors.
