What if God’s most powerful messengers arrive with glitter, a pink hearted nose, and open arms?

In Clowning from the Heart: One Smile at a Time, Cindy Love invites readers into the remarkable true story of how she became “Sparkle,” a gospel clown whose mission was simple yet profound: to help people feel seen, safe, and loved. What began as a childhood spark and a small act of obedience grew into a decades-long ministry that touched hospitals, nursing homes, churches, schools, parades, and countless lives in between.

Through vivid, heartfelt storytelling, Cindy shares transformative encounters with abused children, terminally ill patients, recovering addicts, skeptics, and strangers carrying invisible pain. As Sparkle, she learns that laughter can open doors where words cannot, and that listening, presence, and compassion often matter more than answers. Each chapter reveals moments of joy, heartbreak, resistance, and redemption, showing how God works through unexpected callings and imperfect people.

This inspirational Christian memoir weaves faith, perseverance, and hope with deeply human emotion. Readers will walk alongside Cindy as she navigates family sacrifice, personal trials, spiritual opposition, and the quiet miracles that emerge when love is freely given. From hospital rooms to fairgrounds, from whispered prayers to life-changing hugs, Sparkle’s journey reminds us that healing often begins with connection.

Perfect for readers who love faith-based nonfiction, Christian testimony, inspirational memoirs, and stories of real-life ministry, Clowning from the Heart speaks to anyone searching for purpose, encouragement, or renewed faith. It is a moving reminder that God can use even the most unexpected paths to bring light into dark places.

Discover how one woman’s obedience, one calling, and one smile at a time changed lives, and how it might inspire you to do the same.
