Kate Potter

Kate Potter was born in the Netherlands and grew up in a variety of countries: Norway, France and Holland, but mostly the UK. Her latter teenage years were spent in the Suffolk countryside. Her first novel, Pigeon Feet, about a brother grieving his twin, has been converted to a screenplay and her second novel, The Absolutes, looks at what it means to lose a child to dangerous cult. Her writing tends to incorporate themes of nature and how nature itself reflects what it’s like to be human.

She’s always loved writing and was encouraged to pursue it, however, distracted by photography while at art college, spent the next twenty years as a photographer and secondary school teacher. She currently lives in Kent with her husband and young son.
