Anthony Ekanem is a Nigerian management scholar, researcher, author and blogger. He is also a chartered insurer with extensive professional experience. He studied at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
He is the author of The Art of Problem Solving (2016), a book that explores problem-solving as a vital life skill. The book emphasises that problem-solving is often taken for granted and rarely recognised as a learned ability. Ekanem argues that it should be regarded as an art developed from early childhood and essential throughout life.
The book highlights everyday problems, ranging from minor challenges to serious issues affecting wellbeing or survival. It stresses the importance of recognising the role of problem-solving and learning to use it effectively. Ekanem also notes the need for creativity when solving complex problems in contexts such as parenting and business.
