Crouching on the cold hard floor, my hands firmly over my ears, I tried to block out what was going on around me. How could he do this? Right in front of me?
'Angel, look at me,' his voice commanded.
Hesitating, I glanced up at him. His cold blue eyes stared down at me as his hand grabbed my arm pulling me to my feet.
'You see what happens when someone touches what is mine?'
There was blood all over the floor, the two men lay motionless on the floor. Bile rose into my mouth as he pushed me closer to them.
'Please,' I whimpered wanting to look away.
'Have you learned the lesson?!' his voice growing louder.
'Yes.'
'Now say it.'
