Grieving the Child I Never Knew

You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance.

Lord, help! I’m hiding from the storm of my loss. I admit I’ve disconnected from reality by hiding my pain in ___________. I need Your help to face the truth and to repair the damage that’s been done in my life and in the lives of others. Come to my aid. Repair and restore my life. Remind me to run to Your presence and Your Word in my journey through grief. Be my hiding place and help me journey on. Amen.
