Suddenly, Cassandra's body stiffened. Her fists clenched. Her eyes were opened wide, unblinking. After about ten seconds, her body relaxed and her fists unclenched.
“Daddy!” she screamed, panic in her voice. Running out of the den, she headed for the back door, out into the yard, and over to where Nikos was standing.
“Daddy!” she said, breathless.
“What's the matter?”
“Don't go!”
