Darlene Johnson, a self-proclaimed normal teenager, has grown up on a horse ranch owned by her father in Monroe, Georgia. However, after a visit to Nashville, Tennessee, she discovers a stage where even ordinary country girls can shine, — the world of country music. Inspired by the hit country superstar, Florida Georgia Line, Darlene is determined to start her own country duo in her countryside hometown. In spite of the obstacles that will come her way, Darlene chooses to charge forwards and shine as bright as the two country boys that came before her.
