Anya is thrust into a treacherous world of corporate espionage and psychological warfare, her clinical detachment shattered as she fights to protect her patients from becoming tools of global manipulation.  Allied with the brilliant but disillusioned neuroscientist, Dr. Samuel Salazar, Anya races to expose Cipher Corp’s sinister agenda: Project Chimera, a clandestine program designed to weaponize empathy on a global scale.
Their pursuit leads them through sterile corporate boardrooms and the desolate landscapes of abandoned research facilities, each encounter with Cipher Corp chipping away at Anya’s structured world, forcing her to confront her own buried traumas.  Simultaneously, Detective Isabella “Izzy” Diaz investigates a series of inexplicable incidents—a spike in suicides, a wave of riots—unraveling a thread that leads directly to Cipher Corp’s shadowy operations.
Inside Cipher Corp, young executive Julian Vance grapples with the ethical implications of Project Chimera, witnessing firsthand the devastating consequences of unchecked ambition. As Anya, Samuel, and Izzy close in, Julian must decide where his loyalty lies: with the corporation that promised him power, or with his own burgeoning humanity.
