“13 Nameless Seasons Moulding A Perverse Foetus” is a surreal/absurdist collection of poems that contains heavy emotions and unapologetically dark themes covering on loss, grief, identity, belief, change, nightmares and forbidden love. It reviews these topics in ways people would find upsetting, grotesque or in fact, shocking but if you are like me then you'd find it suffocatingly beautiful and brutally honest. Think about what Wednesday Adams or Billie Eilish would write then double the brutality. “13 Nameless Seasons” is both the time this collection took to gestate and the essence of what it became: my “perverse foetus”. This is definitely not your regular Instagram poetry.
