Three rivals. One malfunctioning rocket. A lethal Martian desert. In the high-stakes world of the Solar Guard, survival isn’t a grade—it’s the only way home.
Tom Corbett, the intuitive Venusian Astro, and the arrogant Roger Manning are polar opposites trapped in the rigorous training of the Space Academy. When a catastrophic reactor failure aboard the Lady Venus leaves them stranded in the scorching New Sahara of Mars, their petty conflicts must die so they can live.
This Action & Adventure epic takes you from the gleaming white Tower of Galileo to the arid, Dystopian landscapes of a hostile red planet. As they navigate a Visionary & Metaphysical journey of self-discovery, the trio faces a Post-Apocalyptic struggle against 150-degree heat and a thinning atmosphere.
While the setting is pure Science Fiction, the shadows of the Martian canals hold a grit reminiscent of Dark Fantasy. The deep, platonic bond formed between these cadets offers a compelling alternative to traditional Science Fiction Romance, proving that loyalty is the ultimate human propellant.
If you are a fan of Robert Heinlein’s Starship Troopers or the classic space-faring adventures of Isaac Asimov, you will love Stand By For Mars!. Strap into the Polaris and prepare for ignition. The Solar Alliance is counting on you.
