In the year 2353, the elite Polaris unit faces a mission that will define the future of a resource-starved Earth. Under the explosive command of Major 'Blast-off' Connel, cadets Tom Corbett and Roger Manning must navigate the lethal vacuum of the Alpha Centauri system. What begins as a technical test of deep-space transmitters evolves into a desperate Action & Adventure struggle against sabotage, greed, and the unforgiving laws of physics.

This is a definitive Coming of Age tale set against the backdrop of strict War & Military discipline. When the rogue spacemen Loring and Mason threaten the discovery of a copper-rich satellite, the crew of the Polaris must execute 'Junior’s Pitch'—a staggering feat of narrative engineering to move an entire moon. To succeed, Tom must evolve from a student pilot into a tactical leader, while the brilliant but arrogant Roger Manning must find a code of honor worth more than his own ego.

Danger In Deep Space captures the grand Romance of the high frontier, treating the Solar Guard with the reverence of a Medieval order of knights. Though set in the far future, the story carries the weight of a Historical epic, where the 'Royalty' of the Space Academy must prove their mettle in the face of certain death. Every atomic thrust and paralo-ray blast brings the unit closer to a victory that requires total sacrifice.

If you are a fan of Robert Heinlein’s 'Starship Troopers' or the classic interstellar grit of Isaac Asimov’s 'Lucky Starr' series, you will love Danger In Deep Space. It is a pulse-pounding tribute to the Golden Age of science fiction that proves space is the ultimate testing ground for the human soul.
