In the 1980s, Dan and Rosemary Kelly’s son, John, was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Confronted with the limited options for long-term mental healthcare, they embarked on an extraordinary journey—one that led to the creation of Rose Hill Center.
Nestled on 400 acres of serene countryside in Holly, Michigan, Rose Hill Center opened its doors in 1992 with a revolutionary approach: combining expert clinical care, psychological support, therapeutic work programs, and a nurturing community. Since then, it has helped over 2,000 individuals with serious mental illness regain independence and rebuild their lives.
