Addy came to the mountains to escape. She never expected to be drawn into a mystery.
In the spring of 2012, Addy leaves her graphic design job in Seattle to track a wolverine as a citizen scientist in Washington’s remote North Cascades. There she meets Logan Howard, a biologist studying a newly established wolf pack.
When Logan’s eccentric friend mysteriously disappears, the only clue he leaves behind is a ceramic platter carved with the connected outlines of animals. Logan turns to Addy’s artist’s eye for help, drawing them together even as their competing studies create unexpected tension.
As secrets reaching across country borders begin to surface, Addy discovers more about the missing man, and changing how she feels about her famous mother… and what it means to be the photographer's daughter.
Set against the wild beauty of the North Cascades, THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S DAUGHTER is an atmospheric mystery and a tale of love, loss and unexpected connections.
